Bathtan in Taro

The Bathtan is our take on the classic caftan, a dress made for wearing after a bath, to bed, or outside. Crafted from pillowy cotton gauze, it feels like stepping into a delicate cloud. Elasticized sleeves, a sweet bottom ruffle and functional collar buttons add the perfect touch of tailoring. 

• Made of 100% cotton and eco-friendly dyes 

• S/M fits up to US dress size 10 (please double check measurements) 

• Measurements: 47" length, 23" shoulder (across back), 23" waist (across back), 19" sleeve

• Sizing transparency: As this is a new product for us, we ordered the minimum quantity from our artisan partner which is on a per size basis. We hope to offer an additional size once we are able to based on the product's success. 

• Features elasticized, ruffled sleeves, functional buttons and a bottom ruffle 

• Made in small batches in partnership with an ethical organization that partners with local artisan cooperatives in India

Our robes are handwoven in 100% cotton. The fabric is breathable, super soft, and won’t weigh you down like heavy terry cloth can. 

Cotton loves to wrinkle after a wash! To best preserve your Bathen products, we highly recommend washing in cold water; not only is this more sustainable, but it will help to maintain your garment over time. Wash in a delicate cycle or by hand and hang to dry. Iron on low or steam if desired.
